DESCRIPTION:We are blessed to have the Rev. Dr. Laurel Hallman offer an int
 roduction to her program\, “Living By Heart.” Developed by Rev. Hallma
 n for Unitarian Universalists\, Living by Heart is a spiritual practice of
  prayer and meditation on “wisdom words\,” especially poetry. In this 
 workshop\, she will lead participants in the Living By Heart practice\, su
 ggest how to begin and retain the spiritual practice over the long-term\, 
 and introduce the accompanying DVD and workbook for the program. Rev. Hall
 man is a retired minister and religious educator who was elected minister 
 emerita of First Unitarian in Dallas in 2010 and whose most recent publica
 tion is Not for Ourselves Alone: Theological Essays on Relationship.
